Event Management: Excellence Awards (Dec 17)

Over 50 employees from Amreyah Cement were nominated for achievement excellence in in 5 different categories of Performance Excellence, Discretionary Effort, Emerging Talent, Team Contribution and Survivor of the Year. Through a criteria-based selection process, 21 individuals and combined teams were voted by the Management Team as category finalists to enter a prestigious Excellence Awards gala dinner held in December 2017. My job included; 1) Creating event mood-board and brief for event management agency, 2) Choosing event venue, entertainment and menu, 3) Supervising the Event Management company to ensure all event details meet the criteria set, 4) Script-writing & directing short video excerpts for each finalist nominee to be used during the gala dinner, and 5) Managing the budget and cost-allocation for the entire event.
